IRL is a charitable organization as described in 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines, Illinois Right to Life maintains discretion over the use of all donated funds. IRL attempts in good faith to allocate funds in consideration of donor preferences as they are expressed – however, when that is not possible, gifts will be used where they are needed. Donors, then, release IRL to spend financial gifts without restrictions, including gifts made to Project Love and other IRL programs.
