  • Contraception vs. Reproductive Health  Abortifacient contraceptives are detrimental to a woman's physical, emotional, psychological, mental and reproductive health.  The director of Planned Parenthood of England reports that the birth control pill causes 150 different chemical changes in a woman's body. (Potts, Malcolm.  Textbook of Contraception)   Some contraceptives prevent ovulation (although the low-dosage pills fail to suppress ovulation  50% of the time) and others thicken the cervical mucus, slowing the transportation of the sperm to the ovum. (Human Life Alliance of Minnesota Ed. Fund) These birth control pills are not healthy for women, but imagine the consequences of ingesting 4-5 doses of these contraceptives!  Large amounts of chemical contraceptives alter the lining of the uterus making it hostile to the newly conceived child and preventing implantation in the womb.  Intrauterine Devices (IUD) prevent the human embryo to from attaching to the mother denying the baby the necessary nutrients and hormones he or she needs to grow and develop, causing death by starvation. This is called abortion.  Contraceptives including RU-486, Norplant and Depo-Provera, are abortifacients which kill the baby in a chemical, non-surgical abortion procedure.      What is RU-486?

  • "Safe, Legal and Rare?"  Abortion is always harmful to a mother because it involves the extermination of her baby's life.  In addition to the mental and psychological anguish, she frequently suffers physical damage, such as a perforated uterus or a torn cervix.  Abortion is a blind surgery and the physician is not acting as a care-giver, but as a baby-killer.  Whether a woman kills her child by suction, saline, dilation & extraction or a chemical abortifacient, she suffers devastating life-long consequences.  This is one reason abortion should be "deadly, illegal and never!"
