Sexual Predators Must be Stopped

On October 3rd, the Committee to Protect Illinois Children held a press conference to present clear evidence that Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation clinics are violating the sexual child abuse and statutory rape laws by failing to comply with mandatory reporting requirements.  Letters requesting investigations have been sent to all 102 States Attorneys in Illinois.  In support of this effort, IRLC issued the press release that appears below.

Other initiatives are pending.  More details will be provided soon.   For other sources of information on ways to get involved in this effort, check the following web sites:

Protecting Illinois Children from Sexual Predators

A nationwide investigation has exposed how abortion clinics violate child abuse law and statutory rape mandatory reporting requirements.  Today, results of this investigation, reflecting a cover-up of child sexual abuse by Illinois abortion clinics, were released to the public.  At a press conference representing the Committee to Protect Illinois Children, Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Illinois and Illinois Right to Life Committee (IRLC) released details of evidence that 21 abortion clinics in Illinois are intentionally not reporting suspected sexual child abuse and statutory rape, as required by law.

Phone conversations to these 21 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation clinics were recorded this past spring by Life Dynamics in Denton, Texas.  The calls reveal that all 21 abortion clinics intend to cover-up suspected statutory rape and/or sexual child abuse by providing methods to avoid reporting of the information to authorities as required by Illinois mandated reporting laws.

Healthcare workers are required to report any possible cases of child sexual abuse, including statutory rape.  The statements made by employees of these clinics indicate clear knowledge of what the law requires and obvious intent to violate the law.  One can only conclude that these clinics have established policies that place more importance on selling their services than in the well being of their clients.  They have apparently decided they can readily ignore the reporting laws that exist to protect Illinois children from sexual predators.

Illinois Right to Life Committee partners with other concerned social service organizations in Illinois to request that the Illinois Attorney General, Illinois States’ Attorneys, and Illinois County Board Chairmen immediately open investigations and take appropriate action, given these documented examples of abortion clinic complicity in state reporting law violations.   Copies of the letters and the supporting evidence sent to these Illinois officials have been made available to the press.
