Aurora Zoning Appeal Battle Begins In early
November attorneys for Fox Valley Families Against Planned Parenthood (FVFAPP) got word
that the Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals finally decided to look into the zoning violations
by Planned Parenthood that were raised in the zoning appeal filed by FVFAPP. That appeal was originally filed on October 2,
2007, right before Planned Parenthood opened their 22,000 square foot Aurora abortion
fortress. The appeal was seeking a
stay of Planned Parenthoods occupancy
permit. The Zoning Board of Appeals has
completely ignored the question of a stay so far, but a hearing date was set for November
28 at 7 p.m. in the Aurora City Council Chambers. This
appeal will present evidence of the deception used by Planned Parenthood to obtain the
approvals needed to build their Aurora abortion fortress. Research has revealed a number of
violations of zoning requirements that occurred during the approval process. Of course, the goal is to get Aurora Planned Parenthoods occupancy permit
rescinded so they are forced to close. A long
court battle is likely before achieving that goal. Return to List of Newsletter Articles IRLC Home Page |
